Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween week. Will was a monkey after some deliberation. I found a french fry package costume on sale a few weeks ago but he kept falling down in it so we're saving it for next year. Here's Will at his "my gym" class with his friend Bailey.
And here's the "my gym" costume parade...
Will had a great time playing in his costume.

He loves the slides at "my gym." I couldn't figure out how to get the rotated version of this picture onto the blog but you get the idea.

Then we carved our pumpkin...

naked...

At first Will didn't like the feeling of the "guts" of the pumpkin but then he got into it.

I never got a picture of the carved jack-0-lantern, but Sean did a great job. Unfortunately, our pumpkin is now turning black and rotting so a picture would not do it justice at this point=)

Finally it was Halloween night. We went over to our neighbor's for a "pre-trick-or-treat eat" before Will went trick or treating to a few houses on our street. Sean and I got a little embarassed when it was pretty transparent that we would be eating all the candy that Will collected. Sean and I were Red Sox and Yankees players again. It's just such an easy costume.

Hmmm...can I take them all???

After trick-or-treating we headed over to the Givens' house for dinner and candy-eating.

Will and Rainy.
Sarah Palin stopped by the Givens' house for dinner.
Yoda and a very tired Monkey. obi wan kenobi (is that how you spell it??)

Luke Skywalker and a mad scientist counting candy.

Sean and I had our own little holiday on Saturday when we went to the Florida/Georgia football game with the Givens and his friends from University of Florida. Will spent the day with one of his favorite babysitters and took a 3 hour nap for her! I'm still very jealous. He's never done that before. I think it was the candy from Halloween.

***Random addition below because I'm too lazy to do 2 separate blogs....

A few weeks ago the Blue Angels came to Jax for the Air Show. Needless to say, Will loved them. In some of their formations, they were only 18 inches from eachother. Pretty amazing...

Thankfully, Will didn't mind the earplugs too much.

He was too busy pointing at the "panes."

What a cute little monkey! Your hair looks great Beth (I don't know how long it has been short, but that's the first picture I've seen) love it! :)
