Frustrated!!!!!

Most of the time, I use this blog as a means of getting pictures out for friends and family to see, even though it's rather infrequent.  It helps me organize our pictures and keep track, however randomly and infrequently, of our family's life.  To that end, I've been trying to organize our photos into slideshows of Will's first year, slideshows for Mother's Day, family birthdays, etc. Personally, I love slideshows and ever since I saw our friend Beth's slideshow for her daughter Carter, they've been on my "to do" list.  Well, last year I organized Will's 1st year of photos into a slideshow that wouldn't burn onto a disc and recently discovered - from said friend Beth, that we needed software to burn the slideshow onto a DVD. Great! Went out, bought Roxio (recommended by Microsoft's help site as I navigated MovieMaker) and tried to copy our Mother's Day slideshows for our moms. No go. So...went through Roxio's "help" section and started over just using Roxio, no MovieMaker. The pictures are all blurry and the music won't play.  I was using my best 'ujjayi' yoga breath to keep me calm since this is about the 9th night I've tried to patiently trouble shoot and figure this darn thing out and I'm realizing that there's no technical support except for tutorials that don't include the problem that I'm having!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ARGH. And Sean's not home to tell me to step away from the computer.

All of this said, I realize that my frustration is probably influenced by Will's 30 minute nap today and the variety of hormones in charge of my brain right now, but I just had to vent.

I think I'll go watch some trashy tv or relax with my new friends in the Twilight series.

Here are a few fun pictures from our Sean's b-day a few weeks ago. They bring a smile to my face as I breathe deeply and step away from Roxio. Thanks for reading...

Fun in the sun continued...

This is the 3 musketeers/Pilgrim woman hat that also cracks me up. Will and Judah humored me and kept them on for a few minutes while they played together and we got ready to celebrate Sean's b-day.

Happy 31st Birthday!

I need to make a whole post about our chocolate cake experience. I was trying to get Will to smile for me but as you can see, he was more interested in tasting Daddy's cake. Again, more pictures to come. But the next batch will be in the next few days. Will is up and ready to get out of the house. I think everyone in Jax has cabin fever these days.

Fun in the sun

Since this week has been a series of downpours in Jacksonville, I thought I'd add some pictures from a few weeks ago when it was HOT. We went to the zoo for a playdate where they have a splash park for the kids. They had a blast.

Okay, so my favorite thing to do at the Pendleton's house is to put Judah's fun dress up hats on Will and Judah. It is just hysterical to me. And, in my current condition, it often makes me almost wet my pants. And the next picture of Will needs to be in the next post because I can't get Picasa to add all the pictures that I select at the same time. I need to do it in smaller batches I suppose. Any suggestions out there? I love that they post so quickly from Picasa but sometimes it doesn't add all the pics I've selected. More to come...

BIG LIZARD!!

Last night we had a VERY big lizard in our front doorway. Our friends Mike and Brandi were at our house for dinner to celebrate the end of Sean's and Mike's MBA semester for an impromptu BBQ. Their son Bryson spotted this lizard outside our doorway and he was BIG.

Bryson, Sean, Will and the lizard.
Will was not a fan and he didn't even want Sean to reach toward it. I guess there is SOMETHING that Will fears. I thought this child was fearless for the past few weeks.
