GO RED SOX!! I'm a terrible fan because I don't keep up with anything until the playoffs, but as a Bostonian at heart, I feel that I have the right to cheer for them whenever I want to.
I'm excited that I can now share pictures from our trip up to Boston. I wanted to mention the upcoming trip in past blogs but I couldn't because my cousin Lindsay's shower was a surprise and I didn't want her to know I was coming up. It was a fantastic trip even though Sean couldn't come up with us. First we went to our friend Jill's wedding on the Cape. Will did not come-it was wonderful for him and for us. Will's special Aunt Sarah and Uncle Dennis and his cousin Sophie took care of him for the night and I was thankful not to have to chase him around or trade off time at the hotel. Here's a picture of Jill and Drew on their way out after their beautiful wedding.
And this is what Will and Soph were doing during the wedding...is there anything better than a ballpit?
This one just makes me laugh because Will was so intent on getting in there with Sophie. She was a good sport but also stood her ground.
Then we spent the week visiting with Grandma, Nona and Bruce, my friend Hannah, Kelly and Amy from high school and their little girls Charlotte and Mia, and Sarah and Sophie, and ended the week with a visit to Aunt Kath Kath's house where Will was the life of the party before the bachelorette party began. More pictures to tell the story of the week...and yes, I am turning into my mother...
Will's favorite "power to the people" move. My friend Anna claims he's saying, "Change we can believe in!" Sean disagrees=)
We had a lot of fun at Lindsay's shower and bachelorette party before we packed up to head back down here to Jax. As always, Linny was such a gracious guest of honor and her sisters and my aunt did an awesome job planning the shower and the bachelorette party.

I had to add this picture of my cousin Meg, gazing longingly at my crabcakes...everything was delicious at the shower...particularly the crabcakes. Meg did not order them.

Finally, here are a few pics of Will at my parents' house. Sean and I miss the fall months so much down here. It was great to just play outside with Will up in Boston without worrying about sunburn. I probably won't be complaining in January, but I really miss the seasons at this time of year.
